More of the world is building what’s next: Endeavor Catalyst closes $320M Fund V
Capital tends to flow to the same hubs. Endeavor Catalyst is looking Elsewhere.
Endeavor Catalyst has closed an oversubscribed $320 million Fund V, its largest fund yet and another milestone in a 15-year journey of investing in exceptional founders around the world.
The thesis behind it is simple: great founders are everywhere, even when capital isn’t.
At a time of extraordinary innovation, capital, talent and influence continue to concentrate around a handful of companies and places. Who gets to build what comes next matters, and Fund V gives Endeavor Catalyst more capital to back extraordinary founders, from more places, building the companies that will define what comes next.
With the new fund, Endeavor Catalyst now has more than $850 million in assets under management.
More of the world is building what’s next
Global venture capital remains heavily concentrated in a small number of markets and firms, even as exceptional founders and companies emerge across a much broader map.
Endeavor Catalyst was built to find and back those founders through Endeavor’s global network, investing exclusively in companies led by Endeavor Entrepreneurs and co-investing alongside leading venture capital and growth equity firms.
Across its five funds, Endeavor Catalyst has backed 437 companies across 44 Catalyst markets, including 83 companies valued at $1 billion or more and 39 exits. Its portfolio includes category-defining companies such as Altruist, Bending Spoons and ElevenLabs.
Since its founding, Endeavor Catalyst has deployed more than $500 million across 469 investments, including follow-on investments. Together, these companies reflect a broader shift in where ambitious founders are building and scaling globally significant businesses.
What Fund V means for Romania
For Romania, Endeavor Catalyst’s global investment model already has a local connection. DRUID, FintechOS and Dexory are among the companies from the Romanian entrepreneurial ecosystem that have received investment from Endeavor Catalyst, demonstrating how companies with roots in Romania can attract capital through the global Endeavor network.
These investments reflect the broader idea behind Catalyst: exceptional founders are building companies beyond traditional venture capital hubs, and access to capital should extend to those markets as well. By investing alongside leading venture capital and growth equity firms, Endeavor Catalyst helps back companies led by Endeavor Entrepreneurs as they scale internationally.
With the close of Fund V, Endeavor Catalyst has more capital available to continue investing in high-growth companies across its global network. For Romania, the significance lies in this existing connection to Catalyst and the opportunity for more Romanian founders, as they become Endeavor Entrepreneurs and meet the fund’s investment criteria, to be considered for investment in the future.
Founders backing founders
Fund V is also closely connected to another idea at the heart of Endeavor: successful entrepreneurs supporting the founders who come after them.
Endeavor Entrepreneurs represent approximately 30% of Fund V’s limited partners by headcount and 19% of the capital raised. Founders who have built companies themselves are investing back into a fund designed to support the next generation of entrepreneurs across the Endeavor network.
It is a tangible expression of the Multiplier Effect: when the success of one generation of entrepreneurs creates experience, capital and opportunities that can help the next one go further.
What comes next
Fund V is already putting that capital to work. It has backed 30 portfolio companies and deployed more than $55 million, with Endeavor Catalyst expecting to deploy an additional $25 million to $30 million over the remainder of 2026.
As the fund continues to invest, it will remain focused on high-growth Endeavor Entrepreneurs across sectors and geographies where the network sees exceptional founder ambition and the opportunity to build globally significant companies.
The next decade is being built now. And as Fund V begins its next chapter, the idea behind it remains simple: the future isn’t being built in just one place.
